Prior to joining Hedley Scott, James commenced his Accounting career in 2010 as an Insolvency Accountant and progressed his way through to Senior Insolvency Accountant at O’Brien Palmer. It was during this time James had successfully completed the CA program and become an accredited Chartered Account.
“After spending 5 years within Insolvency, I had made the decision to make a career change. As it turned out, a good friend of mine who was working for a reputable agency at the time asked me to come and work alongside him. After hearing him out, I was definitely intrigued to see what the recruitment industry was about. In all honesty this was never something I’d considered in the past however looking back, it was one of the best decisions I had made in my career. Don’t get me wrong, recruitment definitely has it’s challenges as does any profession however it’s something I thoroughly enjoy and I’m glad I made the move.”
