Position Overview
As a Senior Accountant within the Business Services & Tax team, you will manage a portfolio of clients while working closely with managers and partners on a range of compliance and advisory matters.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns for all entity types
- Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
- Assisting with tax planning, structuring and advisory matters
- Preparing management reports, BAS and other compliance obligations
- Mentoring and reviewing the work of junior accountants
- Working closely with partners on more complex client engagements
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience within Business Services & Tax in public practice
- CA or CPA qualified (or near completion)
- Strong technical tax and compliance knowledge
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Experience working with SME and private clients
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
