Summary:
Join a high-performing mid-tier accounting & advisory firm (≈100 staff in Sydney and 50 overseas) as a Supervisor. You'll act as the critical link between offshore compliance teams and local managers, leading the first review and overseeing high-quality deliverables before final sign-off. Ideal for someone with a mid-tier firm background or private-client tax team experience at a Big 4.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the firm's India compliance team, review their work and coordinate deliverables for the Sydney office.
- Perform the first layer of local review on compliance/tax work and escalate to local managers for final sign-off.
- Manage workflow, quality control, and liaise with offshore and onshore teams to ensure timely, accurate outcomes.
- Support process improvement and drive consistency in deliverables across locations.
- Communicate effectively with local managers and partners regarding status, issues and outcomes.
Your Background:
- CA or CPA qualified.
- Minimum 5 years in a mid-tier accounting firm or in a private-client tax team of a Big 4.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment (Sydney CBD &/or new Parramatta office) and collaborating with offshore teams.
- Driven, quality-focused and able to take initiative in process improvement.
