The Opportunity

This firm is a fast growing globally integrated audit, tax and advisory firm with offices in more than 90 countries who are always ready to recruit experienced and motivated Manager like you to join their Australian team.

In the Tax division, you will work with clients to provide tax solutions that will help them achieve their business objectives. You will be a part of a collaborative team across sectors, services and geographies. You will have the opportunity to advise on a broad spectrum of taxes and work across a variety of clients, from private to large global corporations. This role lends itself to you initially building broad skills and tax knowledge as you develop expertise in a specialisation of your choice.



Key responsibilities:

• Providing tax advice in all areas of taxation (International, Commonwealth and State)
• Planning and structuring, transactions, and investments
• Researching, analysing and interpreting tax legislation with an emphasis of practical, written advice to assist business decision makers
• Liaison and negotiate with the ATO and Revenue Authorities
• Some taxation compliance responsibilities including return and BAS preparation
• Developing a direct advisory responsibility to clients, other Partners and our client's international network

Skills and Experience

• at least 2 years' experience in Tax within an Australian accounting firm
• CA/CPA qualified or partially qualified
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
