The position:

Partnering with the CFO and other leaders of the business, you will be supported by your small team as you manage and oversee the financial aspects of the business. You will guide the business, review, and manage financial policies focussing on continuous improvement and change. If you have a love for digital transformation and change, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and mentoring a small team
• Collaborating closely with the finance team on month-end closing and timely, accurate financial reporting
• Full responsibility for AP, AR and Inventory Management
• Management and oversight of the outsourced payroll preparation
• Continuous improvement of the accounting and finance and accounting policies
• Streamline and lead solutions for digital transformation and automation
• Additional Ad-hoc projects as required

Requirements:

To be successful in this role you will be an experienced finance manager with the ability to work in a demanding and complex environment. You will be CA/CPA qualified with solid accounting experience and with exposure to a franchisee model and/or FMCG. You will be commercially astute, hands-on, practical and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Having experience within retail is essential and will guarantee your success in this position. You should love what you do and hold yourself to very high standards.
