A rare and highly attractive opportunity is now available for an experienced Business Services & Tax Partner (or aspiring Partner) to join a long-established, highly regarded Chartered Accounting firm.

The firm services a loyal and diverse client base across SMEs, family groups, and specialist industries. With a long history of partner-led service and deep client relationships, the practice offers stability, consistent revenue streams, and a collaborative, professional culture.
The Opportunity
This is a genuine succession role created due to the planned retirement of a long-standing Partner. The successful candidate will step into an established portfolio and play a key leadership role in the next phase of the firm's growth.

Your Role
- Assume ownership of a substantial client portfolio, acting as the primary relationship lead and trusted adviser
- Provide strategic tax planning, structuring, and high-level business advisory services to SME and family group clients
- Lead complex client engagements, including group structuring, succession planning, and transaction support
- Drive revenue growth through cross-selling, value-add advisory, and identifying new opportunities within the existing client base
- Play a key role in business development, including networking, referral management, and winning new clients
- Contribute to the firm's strategic direction, including service line growth, operational improvement, and long-term planning
- Mentor, develop, and lead a team of accountants, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture
- Oversee workflow management, resource allocation, and ensure delivery of high-quality, timely client outcomes
- Maintain strong governance, risk management, and compliance standards across engagements
- Collaborate closely with fellow Partners on firm-wide initiatives, profitability, and succession planning
- Take an active role in shaping the future of the firm, including equity participation and leadership responsibilities
About You
- CA/CPA qualified
- Proven experience in Business Services & Tax within a public practice environment
- Existing client base (highly regarded but not essential)
- Strong commercial acumen and advisory capability
- Leadership experience or readiness to step into a Partner role
- Interest in succession and long-term equity participation
