As a Business Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in representing their company and driving the expansion of their business services client base within a specific geographical area in Melbourne. Key Responsibilities
- Client Engagement: Serve as the face of our client's company, delivering exceptional client services in alignment with our organizational policies and values. Cultivate strong relationships with clients, associations, and other potential sources of business, leveraging networking opportunities to promote our services and secure new clients.
- Strategic Growth: Take ownership of market growth initiatives, devising and implementing targeted marketing plans and promotional strategies to attract new business and elevate our market presence. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to business groups and client seminars, showcasing the value proposition of our services.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the preparation of tax returns, financial statements, tax accounts, and associated records with precision and accuracy. Coordinate seamlessly with Accountants, Bookkeepers, and Support staff to ensure efficient client-jobs execution and optimal client satisfaction.
- Leadership: Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a small team towards achieving common goals. Foster a collaborative team environment, where each member is empowered to contribute their best and excel in their respective roles.

Qualifications and Experience
- Educational Background: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, RTA qualification, and membership in an Australian Accounting Association.
- Experience: Possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of Public Accounting experience, with a focus on small businesses operating as Companies and Trusts. Experience in a managerial capacity is preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate expertise in reviewing work carried out by Accounting staff, with a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and tax laws.
- Resource Management: Work within regions (a north and a south region) utilizing resources including Australian staff (employed by H&R Block Australia) and overseas staff (employed by H&R Block India), including Accountants, Bookkeepers, and Support staff.
