This leading international firm is currently recruiting an Intermediate / Light Senior Accountant within their Business Advisory team. The Opportunity:

You will work across a varied clients base focussing on delivering quality compliance services and be introduced to some advisory work as you progress in the position.

With the support of your Manager, key duties include:

• Prepare, analyse and review accounts, income tax returns, company annual returns, trust tax returns, Business Activity Statements, Fringe Benefit Tax returns and notices of assessment.
• Preparation of consolidated income tax returns for tax consolidated entities.
• Preparation of Tax effect accounting calculations.
• Ad-hoc assistance with maintenance of accounting records for various small/medium businesses
• Interacting directly with clients and resolving queries as the arise in relation to tax and accounting matters.
• Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and other regulatory bodies when required
• Assist with ad hoc projects and provide technical tax advice to the business

Client requirements:

To be successful in the position you will have a minimum of 2 years' relevant Business Services and Tax experience. You will be working towards CA / CPA qualifications or be newly qualified. Strong collaborative skills, a dedicated work ethic and excellent communication skills are essential in this role. You will also have a strong desire to grow and develop both as a person and in your career.
