Position Overview:
The role is to manage the team and the client base to ensure that a best practice approach is taken to all business services work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial reports, including trial balances and statements of financial position.
- Develop and maintain work papers and files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Analyse financial statements and provide explanations for key matters.
- Update permanent tax files and identify both tax compliance and planning issues.
- Resolve tax issues, calculate taxable income, and reconcile with financial statements.
- Prepare and finalise tax returns, management accounts, and financial submissions.
- Identify efficiency gains and tax planning opportunities.
- Manage client relationships and oversee the team, including performance management, mentoring, and development.
- Review accounting files, income tax returns, budgets, and cash flows, highlighting key issues for discussion with the Director and clients.
Requirements:
- CA or CPA qualified.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Energetic, ambitious, and able to think strategically.
